Formed in February 2014, Agro-Florentina shpk is a growing and dynamic company that collects and processes mushrooms, wild forest fruits and aromatic plants which exports them to the international market, including that of EU.

 

 

 

 

 

As a successor of “Pranvera” company, the business operation with

mushrooms, wild forest fruits and aromatic plants has started on 2001.

Or business is located in Polac near Skenderaj in Kosovo, where our

warehouse collects, stores and processes wild mushrooms,

forest products and aromatic plants.

The company has a good infrastructure to conduct and develop the current activities, it obtains a warehouse which includes two facilities from 600 square meters and offices. It possesses modern drying machinery for processing of wild mushrooms and aromatic plants. Also it obtains 360 cubic meters of freezing rooms for freezing and storing the products. The company also possesses modern machinery which are involved in the processing of the products, including, the cutting and sorting machinery.

Since the nature of the business depends on the season, Agro-Florentina has 8 regular employees, whereas during the season it employs directly up to 40 employees, where 90% of them are women whom are the main household financial providers, which are involved in the product processing section. On the other hand the company employees indirectly around 400 villagers from 52 villages in Skenderaj municipality, and it has organized around 20 Centers for Collecting wild mushrooms and aromatic plants.
